NJTC Venture Fair 2004 Winners Announced
Excellent Showing from Technology and Life Sciences Companies Yields Strong Competition
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Jersey Technology Council's Venture Fair 2004 honored fifteen of its exhibitors at an awards presentation following Monday's fair. With over 600 attendees, the event showcased technology and life sciences companies that have distinguished themselves in areas of innovation, growth and support for New Jersey and the surrounding area. This year's event was held at the Liberty Science Center.
"Our exhibiting companies represent ingenuity, innovation and opportunity for regional economic growth," said Maxine Ballen, NJTC's CEO. "We are extremely proud to award these fifteen stand-outs from such a strong group."

Over 50 companies were selected to exhibit at the Venture Fair. Venture capitalists and investors visited the companies at their booths to preview the various products and personally meet the management. Additionally, more than half of the companies had the opportunity to make formal presentations to the Venture Fair audience.
Several past exhibitors have received funding totaling more than $15 million, including Piscataway-based Polymerix Corp., Conshohocken-based LScan Technologies, Inc., and Hoboken-based Hydroglobe.
