Professor Bruce A. Kirchhoff elected to Board of Directors

Urovalve, Inc. is pleased to announce that Bruce A. Kirchhoff, PhD, Distinguished Professor and Director of the Technological Entrepreneurship Program at New Jersey Institute of Technology has been elected to its Board of Directors. Professor Kirchhoff has been the founder of two technology based manufacturing firms, former Chief Economist for the Small Business Administration, and published a book and over 100 research papers and journal articles.
Professor Kirchoff replaces Phillip J. Davis, who has resigned for personal and health reasons. Mr. Davis is the Founder of Urovalve and inventor of the core technology that resulted in several patents now assigned to Urovalve and was the lead designer of the SurinateTM valve and stent system for treatment of urinary retention. Mr. Davis is a mechanical engineer with a background in design and building of devices and equipment for the blind and physically handicapped. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Homan, President and Chief Executive Officer for Urovalve, Inc. expressed his pleasure that Professor Kirchhoff has accepted election to the Board and appreciation to Mr. Davis for his long and dedicated service to Urovalve.
